*Leather Care:
The pelt should not be allowed to get wet or rained on. While it will naturally shed some water, if it gets soaked the pelt will harden and may crack. I recommend re-oiling the front straps with a leather conditioner such as neatsfoot oil every year or so. The non-hair side of the reindeer pelt may be conditioned with a suede leather care/conditioner.
